This weekend was another Daddy-Daughter Dance! We were at 2|42 Community Center, and I set up on the stage to make as much room for dancing between the tables. The theme was Masquerade, and guests were handed masks, raffle tickets and scavenger hunt cards that focused on other guests. In addition to the dancing, professional photos, fun snack bar and craft area, I hosted 3 group games throughout the evening with the raffles.

One game was an alteration of my ‘Go Skate’ game from the Winter dance — ‘Go Play Outside’ for Spring. Dads would send their daughters to go frolick until called home to warm up (hands to hands! Head to head! Ear to ear! Go play outside!) My favorite was at the end when daughters sent their dads out and they were committedly frolicking.
